Abstract

This standard gives guidance on recording the way of specimen taking, storage, and transfer of biological samples for surface chemical analysis techniques such as secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS), Raman spectroscopy, and desorption electrospray ionization (DESI). This standard sets rules to be observed for the maintenance of biological samples.
