Workshop 1: Facing the future: an introduction to foresight.
This first workshop will provide a general introduction to foresight and how it can be applied to our standardization work.
Foresight practice will help ISO members to anticipate and prepare for future standardization topics, ensuring that ISO standards continue to be timely and responsive.
ISO has developed a Standardization Foresight Framework, to be piloted in 2021.
This is the first of two virtual workshops* to prepare ISO members for the pilot.
It will provide a general introduction to foresight and how it can be applied to our standardization work. This workshop will include creative and interactive activities to introduce you to the ‘foresight mindset’, to stimulate ideas and to demonstrate some workshop tools for foresight practice.
For any questions, please contact the ISO Research and Innovation Team: email@example.com.
* A second workshop on 09 December will present the details of the ISO Standardization Foresight Framework and how ISO Members can get involved.
