Abstract

This document specifies a quality assurance methodology for information exchange between Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), defining framework elements, quality principles and validation facets, and specifying methods for quality requirements specification, measurement and reporting. ​ ​This document does not apply to the management or assessment of data quality within BIM or GIS individually.​
