Building trust in a changing world

In a world shaped by disruption, fragmentation and uncertainty, trust is the foundation of lasting global progress. It enables cooperation, unlocks innovation and supports resilient, connected societies.

Trust is built through a global system of regulations, conformity and quality assurance that brings confidence to how organizations and economies work together. At the core of this system, International Standards provide a shared, reliable foundation to:

  • Protect consumers, health, safety and the environment
  • Support fair trade and exports
  • Increase industrial competitiveness
  • Encourage innovation
  • Build confidence in markets and government regulation

When expectations align, trust grows – across people, systems, markets and countries.
