The launch issue has just been published of ISO's new magazine, ISO Management Systems, which provides a worldwide panorama of ISO's best known business standards, ISO 9000 and ISO 14000, which are implemented by more than 430 000 organizations in 158 countries to help them meet their quality and environmental management challenges.
ISO Management Systems is a full colour magazine, published six times a year and available in English, French and Spanish editions. It replaces ISO 9000 + ISO 14000 News, launched by ISO in 1992. The improved content of the new magazine is resolutely international and includes:
- ISO 9000 and ISO 14000-related developments and implementation case studies from around the world
- news direct from ISO sources on upcoming additions and revisions to the ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 families

ISO Management Systems takes full advantage of its privileged relation with ISO, the original source of ISO 9000 and ISO 14000, to bring readers "insider" news. However, the magazine will not be a mere mouthpiece for ISO and will encourage expression of constructive criticism of the standards that may influence positively the future development and improvement of the standards.
