ISO has expanded the “menu” of its virtual  The ISO Café whose visitors can explore the world of ISO standards and the benefits they provide in concise and digestible language.

So, grab a coffee, get comfortable and discover some of the new ISO work and updated standards that ISO has published over the past year in the areas of:

In addition to information about ISO, its activities, why standards are important and how they are developed, The ISO Café gives an overview and examples of international standardization in one convenient location.

It signposts users to helpful sources of information, such as ISO members, technical and subcommittees, its international and regional partners, and other Web pages within ISO Online.

"The ISO Café is a virtual place for those wishing to learn more about the benefits of standards, which make life safer and more convenient, and avoid having to reinvent the wheel and sharing best practices," said Anke Varcin, Head, Public Relations, ISO Central Secretariat. "Users will gain knowledge about ISO standards that is jargon-free and hopefully helpful to all."

As an ongoing project, The ISO Café will continue to be updated and expanded over time with more examples of ISO standards and additional information on international standardization.
