Lithuanian Accreditation and Standardization Agency (LASA) started its activity on 1 January 2026. It took over all rights and duties of the Lithuanian Standards Board (LST).

LASA is a budgetary institution, carries out the functions of the National Standards Body (NSB) and within its competence takes part in establishing and implementing the policy of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania in the field of standardization.

LASA develops and improves national standardization system, sets up technical committees to develop draft standards and coordinates their activities, establishes procedures for the adoption of the international and European standards as the Lithuanian standards, adopts, publishes and distributes the Lithuanian standards and other deliverables applied on a voluntary basis, seeks to prevent infringement of copyright requirements of the international and European standards in Lithuania, provides information on the Lithuanian standards, the technical regulations and conformity assessment procedures to the Lithuanian institutions and economic operators.

LASA is a full member of ISO, CEN, CENELEC and ETSI, and an associate member of IEC.
