This lecture provides an overview of the "New Approach" of the European Commission. At the same time, attention is drawn to the importance of the EU-Directives and of the significance of European standards in the life cycle of products. This serves as a basis for underlining how important it is to implement European standards within the company system of standards.

Diese Vorlesung bietet Ihnen einen Einblick in die "neue Konzeption" der EU-Kommission, die auf englisch "New Approach" genannt wird. Zugleich wird auf die Bedeutung der EG-Richtlinien und der europäischen Normen im Produktlebenszyklus aufmerksam gemacht. Damit wird die Notwendigkeit der Implementierung europäischer Normen in das Werknormen-System von Unternehmen begründet.
