The lecture notes deal with the network effect theory which builds the basis for developing a standardization framework and then discusses standardization problems and mechanisms for their solution. Electronic data interchange and the extensible markup language are presented as e-business standards.
Die Vorlesung baut auf der Netzeffekttheorie auf und entwickelt ein Framework zur Erklärung von Standardisierung. Darüber hinaus werden Standardisierungsprobleme und Ansätze zu deren Lösung aufgezeigt. Als e-Business Standards werden Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) und die Extensible Markup Language (XML) angeführt.
