This paper reports on progress of the CIIE (Committee on Industry, Innovation and Entrepreneurship) project on Green Growth and Eco-Innovation, and explores policies to support market creation and development for eco-innovation. It provides a preliminary analysis of selected case studies for the following six categories of demand-side instruments: public procurement; performance standards; technology standards; commercialisation financing; price-based instruments; and networks and partnerships.
