Activities:

• Undergraduate and post graduate students visit the NSB to see the National Quality Infrastructure components like: Standardization, Metrology, Testing and Certification activities in operation but not primary and secondary school students.

Most important initiatives:

Recent proposal to the Ministry of Education to raise awareness among the primary and secondary students of the importance of consuming safe food and drinking water that comply with relevant standards.

Relationships exist with these organizations:

University teachers largely contribute to the National Standardization activities by active participation in almost all the national technical committees (TCs) and policy making committees like National Codex Committee (NCC) and National Electrotechnical Committee (NEC).
