Activities:

• Lectures in schools
• Visits of students to NSBs, SDOs, companies, laboratories etc.

Most important initiatives:

Regular visits to primary schools by the TTBS Marketing unit to deliver lectures, conduct quizzes and distribute small tokens and prizes to deserving students. Delivery of lectures to secondary (and tertiary) level institutions on standards and quality relating to specific areas, e.g. health and safety, quality management, etc. at the invitation of these schools.

Current discussions with the Ministry of Education concern the implementation of the Kids ISO 14001 program into the secondary school curriculum.

Submission of a proposal for inclusion of the Kids ISO 14001 program in secondary schools.

In 2010-2011, the number of schools reached was approximately 30 (15 primary schools, 10 secondary schools and 5 tertiary level institutions)

Public authorities have shown an increasing willingness to engage TTBS in their operations where standards and quality can make a difference (e.g. procurement practices).
