Most important initiatives:

Promotion of standards amongs SMEs since the establishment of ISME in 2007.
Organization of and participation in various raising awareness events, workshops, conferences and roundtables in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce, the Center of Quality (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering), Bureau of Metrology and the Accreditation Body of Montenegro.

Agreements exist with the following organizations:

• - The Chamber of Commerce,
  - Center for Quality (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering),
  - Bureau of Metrology, and
  - Accreditation Body of Montenegro
  
  ISME has no formal relationship with public authorities responsible for education but representatives of educational institutions (mainly universities) participate in each of its 10 technical committees.
