
The experimental course Strategic Standardization, provided by the Catholic University of America, is reviewed in an attempt to generalize the success of standardization courses in the USA. Concluded is that education on standardization is mainly provided by professional standards organizations and that the material is much more effectively grasped by students with practical experience.
