A note can contain additional information about the entire entry, or about the term, definition, or example. An entry can contain multiple notes.

A note is only allowed at the langSet level, and it must occur before the tig. Any clarification as to what the note applies to (term, definition, etc.) shall be explicitly written in the note. A note can also contain lists, tables, other special markup, and non-verbal representations. A note shall henceforth NOT be used to contain only a “See” reference. For that purpose, use see.
