Delegates requiring a visa for entering Switzerland are kindly requested to make the necessary applications through the nearest Swiss Embassy or Consulate.

We shall be pleased to issue individual letters of invitation for the relevant Swiss authorities upon request. Should you require such letters, please indicate this when registering for the CASCO Plenary Meeting (see section "Registration").

Almost all countries around the globe have updated their visa policies lately and, today, it is likely to take longer to get a visa than it used to. Please note that Switzerland has joined the Schengen visa scheme on December 12, 2008.

As a result, those participants who need a visa for entering Switzerland are REQUESTED TO PROCEED WITH THEIR VISA APPLICATIONS AS FAR IN ADVANCE AS POSSIBLE, i.e. upon receipt of a copy of the letter of invitation.
