WELCOME TO GENEVA FOR
THE 25th CASCO PLENARY MEETING AND
WORKSHOP ON THE GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN!
It is an honor and a pleasure for us to welcome you to the 25th CASCO plenary meeting. It will be held in Geneva, close to the ISO Central Secretariat premises and to the numerous Geneva-based international organizations with which we collaborate regularly and efficiently - in particular the UN, some of its specialized agencies, as well as the WTO and the IEC.
The plenary meeting will be preceded by a workshop that will aim to identify the role of International Standards in managing the global supply chain.
CASCO is in the process of reviewing clauses 6.7 and 6.8 of the ISO/IEC Directives, and has implemented its interpretation panel.
We would like to welcome you at this plenary meeting and workshop, and look forward to benefiting from your discussions and exchange of ideas.
