About the artist : Thierry Clauson

Thierry ClausonA graphic designer and artistic director by training (Arts Décoratifs, Geneva) and an artist trained at the Beaux Arts of Geneva, Thierry Clauson uses many different visual means of artistic expression: illustration using oil, acrylic, 3D digital images. If his curiosity leads him in search of new techniques or technologies, his aim is to achieve a "rich mix", to shape them until they lose their initial form in a synergistic process producing and original result.

For Thierry, a successful image depends on avoiding the pitfall of style, eschewing immediate recognition and taking the risk of creating surprises with new trends.

Beyond technique, the defining feature of Thierry's work is intense emotion, conveyed in unusual, surrealistic images and a constant presence, whether he works in abstract or realistic mode.

The creative studio of Thierry Clauson and his four colleagues has been in existence for over 20 years. Its portfolio includes creations for various prestigious customers as Longines, Patek Philippe, Chopard, Eri Bancaire, Crédit Suisse, Société Bancaire Privée and Jelmoli.

The Atelier Clauson has also contributed to various national and international campaigns in conjunction with famous agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, McCann-Erickson and many others. It has immersed itself in the world of the performing arts, designing CD inlays for various artists such as Germaine Jackson, Theresa Rhodes, Alain Morisod and others in the field of DJ and electronic music.

The Atelier Clauson has won various competitions and awards in the United States and Singapore.
