The following flowchart gives an overview of the different stages involved in processing the most common ISO deliverables. For each deliverable, there are links to a more detailed flowchart, which in turn is linked to the document "Tips and tools for developing ISO deliverables". This provides tools to assist Committee Secretaries in finding the suitable e-tools available on the Standards Development page of the ISO website. Descriptions of best practices and brief descriptions of ISO procedures are given but may not be complete. Please refer to the specific subclause (indicated in parentheses) in the ISO/IEC Directives Part 1, 2008 and the ISO Supplement for the complete text and correct interpretation.
