The February issue of ISO Focus looks at standardization and healthcare information technology highlighting the work of ISO/TC 215, Health informatics. The issue describes all the latest medical technologies on medical devices and health information technologies including thermographs, laboratory testing and an article on all the latest developments in healthcards.

The work of the Global Harmonisation Task Force for Medical Devices (GHTF) is featured looking at how industry and regulatory authorities from around the world promote international convergence in regulatory requirements and practices to ensure patient safety.
