ISO Focus - April 2005
Education, Foundation for the future
A provocative issue on the value of standards education and training not to be missed!
Inspired by the United Nations Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (DESD, 2005-2014), that was launched in New York on 1 March 2005, the April issue offers a variety of articles looking at new e-learning ventures and other education and training approaches being undertaken all over the world. What's more, the Director General of the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Koïchiro Matsuura gives his viewpoint on where and how International Standards can provide added value in education.
