ISO Focus November 2007 on Education for all - A provocative issue on the value of higher education in standardization, not to be missed!

Inspired by the ISO Award that was presented for the first time in September 2007 during the ISO General Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland, the November issue hammers home the importance of Higher Education in Standardization. The award aims to raise awareness of the importance of standards worldwide, as tools to access world markets, transfer technology and promote good business practice and sustainable development.

The issue carries an exclusive interview with the winner of the first ISO Award for Higher Education in Standardization, together with contributions from the remaining five finalists and short commentaries from the selection committee.

Finally, the issue looks at how standards can contribute to education, featuring articles on services, quality, content, e-learning, as well as case studies of successful education programmes in practice.
