Abstract
Specifies an analytical method for determining the solubility in nitric acid of plutonium in whole pellets of unirradiated mixed oxide fuel (light water reactor fuels). The results provide information about the expected dissolution behaviour of irradiated pellets under industrial reprocessing conditions.
