Cancels and replaces the first edition (1974). Specifies manufacturing, testing and marking requirements for solid section fork arms, for quantity production and with all types of mounting. By agreement between the fork arm manufacturer and the purchaser, these requirements may also be applied to fork arms intended for quantity manufacture.
