Scope:
Standardization in the field of steam and gas expansion turbines for industrial application. Standards to be elaborated should specify the basis requirements for the turbine and the associated lubrication, control, instrumentation and other auxiliary systems. Standards to be developed should be intended to facilitate the procurement and manufacture of turbines for industrial application and ensure compatibility with the driven equipment and any associated energy transfer equipment or other systems.
