ABOUT THE
ORGANIZERS
WSC
- World Standards Cooperation
The World
Standards Cooperation (WSC) is the entity
created by the International Organization for Standardization
(ISO), the International Electrotechnical Commission
(IEC) and the International Telecommunication Union
(standardization sector, ITU-T) in order to strengthen
and advance the voluntary consensus-based international
standards system of ISO, IEC and ITU-T.
To fulfil
its mission, WSC is engaged in a variety of activities,
among which organizing sectorial workshops
has high priority. The WSC workshops aim to achieve
clear identification of stakeholders' needs and
optimal organization of the delivery of products
and services through the medium of the international
standardization system.
