To join our Marketing, Communication and Information Department,
we are currently looking for an

Assistant

  

whose key responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Director of the Marketing and Communication Department (coordinate the Director’s agenda including travel arrangements; prepare correspondence, presentations, copyrights and distribution agreements; prepare, proofread, translate and circulate working documents and reports, greet visitors, answer telephone calls and take messages, etc.);
  • Manage and reply to enquiries related to sales and copyright matters, and other e-mail and telephone enquiries;
  • Index standards using the ICS classification;
  • Coordinate other administrative and logistical details associated with the day-to-day operations of the Department;
  • Assist other members of the Marketing, Communication and Information Department, in particular the managers of the Marketing and Communication units;
  • Liaise with other members of the ISO Central Secretariat as needed;
  • Participate in other activities as requested by the Director.

The selected candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with 5 years' relevant experience in a similar position. Full proficiency in MS-Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is required, while knowledge of Document Management Systems (e.g. Livelink) would be a plus.

The successful candidate will be called upon to coordinate diverse administrative tasks requiring excellent organizational skills. Flexible, proactive and diplomatic, the ideal candidate will be able to work in a team or independently, as well as with executive level clients.
