Updates on ISO 3166-1

Updates on ISO 3166-1, i.e. to the list of country names and country codes in ISO 3166-1 are available as ISO 3166-1 Newsletters on the Website of the ISO 3166/MA. These updates take the form of PDF documents. Users of the ISO 3166-1 database product will have to incorporate the changes into their own system.

Updates on ISO 3166-2

Updates on ISO 3166-2, i.e. to the list of country subdivision names and country subdivision codes are available as ISO 3166-2 Newsletters on the Website of the ISO 3166/MA. New updates will take the form of .PDF and .DOC documents. Users of the ISO 3166-2 database product will have to incorporate the changes into their own system.

Subscription

Customers who want to be notified of changes to the standards announced by the ISO 3166 Maintenance Agency should subscribe to our newsletter. We will be glad to include their e-mail address into our mailing list.

We do not, however, offer a subscription system by means of which registered users of the database versions of ISO 3166-1 and/or ISO 3166-2 would receive updated database versions whenever changes are made.
