Database of ISO 3166-1 (list part)
The product contains the following files:
- Microsoft® Access 2000 file of the list part of ISO 3166-1
- Semicolon-delimited TXT-file of identical content
- Readme-file with detailed information on the product
At the date of the purchase the database file and the semicolon-delimited text file are up-to-date. The font used throughout is ARIAL UNICODE MS.
Example for the data fields contained in a complete ISO 3166-1 entry:
- Alpha-2: ZA
- Alpha-3: ZAF
- Numeric-3: 710
- English short name: SOUTH AFRICA
- English full name: Republic of South Africa
- English remark: Includes Marion Island, Prince Edward Island
- French short name: AFRIQUE DU SUD
- French full name: République sud-africaine
- French remark: Y compris: l'Île Marion, l'Île du Prince-Édouard
NB: Not all 230+ entries have data in every field.
