ISO Central secretariat
The ISO Central Secretariat is located in Geneva, Switzerland. It ensures the coordination of the worldwide activities of more than 3 200 technical groups that actually develop the standards in collaboration with the 163 ISO members.
The ISO Central Secretariat also acts as secretariat to the General Assembly, the Council, the policy development committees (CASCO, COPOLCO and DEVCO) and their subsidiary bodies, the Technical Management Board (TMB) and the committee on reference materials (REMCO).
