This one-day course conveys the key basic principles of the development of standards, possibilities of participation, and the various fields of application of standards. Participants obtain an overview of national, European, international standardization and the search for standards as well as the channels for their distribution. Furthermore, the seminar conveys the importance of standardization for companies and the possibilities for them to influence the development of standards.

Das Seminar vermittelt die wichtigsten Basisinformationen von der Normenentstehung über Beteiligungsmöglichkeiten bis hin zu den Anwendungsfeldern der Normung. Die Teilnehmer erhalten einen fundierten Überblick über nationale, europäische und internationale Regeln zur Normenerstellung sowie zu Recherche- und Vertriebswegen der Normen. Weiterhin werden Detailkenntnisse zur Bedeutung der Normung für das eigene Unternehmen sowie zu unternehmensbezogenen Einflussmöglichkeiten auf den Prozess der Normung vermittelt.
